My Kids

My kids mean the world to me. I chose them and each day being with them simply blessses me. How can three people coming from two be so incredibly unique? I can tell you... for hours I could explain what my children are like. But rather, it may be more fun to remember a few of their life moments...

SAM - our son, our first born. What can I say? He's a great guy. Sam is working on his grade 12 completion. At this point he hopes to end school in January and find a job for a few months. He loves all things political, and we are curious to see which direction he will head. Sam takes his role as big brother rather seriously. He is always looking out for his sisters. He is independent and enjoys adventuring with his crew of friends. This past summer we took a family trip to the Parliment in Ottawa and historical Quebec City. Sam is a great source of information and provides excellent balance to the family dynamics.

AMY - our beautiful  first born daughter.  Amy embraces life with her entire heart. We often say, every day is a new day with Amy. And it is. She loves strong, cares deep and believes whole heartedly - no matter the circumstance. Amy has always been creative. She enjoys so very many things. Specifically the arts... She loves painting and drama especially.  We encouraged Amy to begin painting - she enjoyed it, and then we took her to art classes. She will be displaying at a local art show next weekend for the second time, but providing demo painting for the first time. Her pictures are amazing!

KARI - our fun loving baby of the family has been taking voice lessons now for about 8 years. She has been doing very well, currently preparing for her grade 5 voice exam. Although she did not begin life with the most stability she has thrived to become who she is today. School comes easy for her as well as singing. Kari has been performing at the Kiwanis music festivals for several years doing voice and mucial theatre. We are thinking about submitting an audition to the Calgary Stampeders to sing the national anthem at home games.

This link will take you to one of her songs, The King of Song. Performed at the Kiwanis Music Fesitval in February 2013 - Kari did an awesome job singing.
