I really liked the hair cleansing cream I had made earlier, but had also read lots of good things about Rosemary, so I decided to make a combination hair cleanser.
1 piece Olive Oil Soap with Rosemary pods
melted in 1 cup water
Add in 2 tsp avocado oil
1/2 tsp extra rosemary pods
1 Tbsp baking soda
1 Tbsp baking soda
1/3 cup liquid castile soap (citrus scent this time)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
I used my egg beaters to whip this up nice and smooth. I added a little extra water to keep it runny and to increase the amount. I was pleased to see it all fit perfectly into this old baby shampoo bottle I've had laying around for years... I think for this exact purpose!
The ladies of the house decided we needed to add some coconut milk for extra conditioning, so I added 1/4 cup thick coconut milk to approx 1/3 cup of the rosemary cleanser. We should easily be able to use this up without going bad or needing to store it in the fridge.
